    VS

    Incognito

    Directed by Shane Black

Sean Patrick Flanery as Zack Overkill a.k.a. Zack Andersen

His most famous role having been that of the good guy who does bad things for good reasons, this would be an inversion, or total warping, of that formula. Sean Patrick Flanery gets top-billing as Zack Overkill, once one-half of the most loyal soldiers of The Black Death, the other having been Zack's twin brother Xander. After Xander's death, Zack suffers a crisis of conscience and rats on his boss to the S.O.S., putting him away indefinitely. Living in witness protection with his powers suppressed, Zack Overkill leads a mundane, unenviable life as Zack Andersen. After the unsanctioned use of his metahuman abilities gets the attention of his old boss' organization, Zack is now faced with an ultimatum: go on the run and return to his old ways, or stand his ground and fight back.

Sean Bean as Kenneth Lee / The Black Death

A far cry from the stereotype as "the guy whose character always dies," Sean Bean would bring to life the immortal gravitas of Kenneth Lee, a former escaped prisoner from 1700's England who gained eternal life and psychic powers from a cosmic object of unknown origin. Taking the name The Black Death, he becomes an unkillable crime lord, opposing the standing order of the world and who mentored Zack and Xander Overkill before the former turned on him, imprisoning him but in no way limiting his power or reach in the outside world.

    Jennifer Lawrence as Ava Destruction

Comely. Chaotic. Complex. Ava Destruction is a volatile cocktail of all of the above. Jennifer Lawrence, her youth lending herself to Ava's ability to remain ageless, has wonderfully illustrated all of these characteristics at one time or another with skill uncommon among her age group, and would make for an excellent wild card thrown into Zack's plan to evade his, and her, former boss. The ex-girlfriend of Xander Overkill, Zack's brother, she finds in Zack a solace she hasn't known since her paramour was killed.

    Gina Carano as Zoe Zeppelin

Daughter of the former archenemy of The Black Death, agent of the clandestine S.O.S. and pain in the ass/sometimes-lover of Zack Overkill (Come the sequel, Bad Influences), Zoe is dogged in her persistence to keep Zack on a leash and under the radar from his former criminal associates, and her overbearing presence in Zack's life in conjunction with the physical demands of the role create a perfect fit for Carano, the MMA fighter-turned-actress.

    Robert Knepper as Doctor Lester

The unhinged last leg of The Black Death's organization on the outside, Doctor Lester is the archetypal mad scientist and creator of the Overkill Twins. When Zack resurfaces, Lester puts the plan into motion to kill Zack for his testimony at the behest of his boss. Knepper cashes in on his years of playing a meditated man with a plan and a psychopath, blending them together so that the latter is what's seen on the surface, the facade of a man with a grander vision.

    Ethan Suplee as Phileas Farmer

Farmer can be considered Zack's only friend in the world, but it's superficial as Farmer doesn't know who Zack really is, what he's done. It's the bullshitting, complaining about their jobs, and their shared use of illegal narcotics that brings to light the revelation that the drugs interfere with those meant to block Zack's metahuman abilities. Farmer, for all intents and purposes, frees Zack, and when he puts two and two together about who his friend really is, Farmer plans to cash in.

I'm sure Incognito reads better than it sounds but I don't think I'd be jumping at the chance to watch it regardless.

On the other hand...Naya Rivera should have been Miss America.

I had to look that name up. I have no idea who she is and have seen next to none of the things listed on her IMDB page.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

She's on Glee. She is also beautiful and isn't super short like Ferrera. I just cant picture Ugly Betty as Ms. America

I have to vote against something simply because I'm not familiar with it, because the Incognito draft makes me want to actually read the story. However, this YA lineup has me intrigued and since I do know the story and characters in it...

A Noire supehero tale or a superhero tale about young people?

              *grabs lighter and lights cigarette*

              Noire wins all the time.

So THIS one is tied now? It'd be kind of funny if somebody came in and broke this tie, and tied the other one back up again.
