Well, really it is about the beard. Chewie doesn't really have a beard as such. I just haven't figured out a clever name that refers to their beardedness specifically, so I went with "hirsute" which is admittedly more general, but has the alliteration thing going on with "heroes".

And what's your problem with Alec Guiness as Obi-Wan? I would think he'd be considered the better actor of the two that portrayed the character, and he doesn't bring the Prequels to mind, which is also a point in his favor, IMHO (though to be fair, Ewan MacGregor WAS one of the bright spots of those films).
