So a bunch of us where chatting at the LCS yesterday and the subject got around the the podcast the shop does. We talked about trying to come up with something different that no one else is doing.
I came up with the idea of old time radio drama type podcasts based on trades/runs like Rebirth or RIP. Look at the level of quality fanboy produced youtube videos.
Think it could work?

I think there's a Superman podcast that does that. And maybe a Batman one, but I never listened to either. I definitely think it could work, but the quality would have to be amazing. Not to mention, you're competing with stuff like Graphic Audio that does (essentially) the same thing for the story (with sound effects sometimes), just without that ol' timey feel...Maybe see if those Superman & Batman podcasts are still around and see if its something you're truly interested in.

so basically, U want to do an audiobook-style podcast, based of any given multi-part storyline??
I gotta say, that aint a 1/2 bad idea.........the only thing Id be more likely to pay attention to is how its read (as in comical or serious) and how well yur fellow participants carry themselves during it.
either way, if ya DO decide to do this then keep us up ta date comrade, cuz it sounds interesting & I'll listen to *atleast* the 1st 3 shows.
