The Bible DOES say that witches exist. That's why preachers had countless innocent women burned at the stake all the way up until the 1700s, when people finally realized that the Bible must be wrong about that.

I recall a film - can't remember the title - where the lead vampire was somehow tied to the crucification of Jesus. I wanna say it was in Dracula 2000, but I don't think that's right either. It may have been an Anne Rice work too. Honestly, don't recall the title, but do vaguely remember watching the film.
            It was Dracula 2000

But after Twlight, I think if this "Legend of Cain" movie gets made, It will put an end to vampires ever being cool again.
Or: It will infuse the franchise with fresh blood. Pun fully intended.

And once more: Bible + Vampires = Shitstorm.
Not necessarily. Coppola's Dracula tied vampirism to a curse from God, and it's one of the best vampire films ever made.

The story of Cain and Abel is thus.

They are brothers. Both make sacrifices to God.

Abel uses the best animals in his flock.
              Cain uses his rotten vegetables.

              God blesses Abel. Reprimands Cain.

Cain gets angry and Murders Abel.

God banishes Cain from the land of his father, yet puts a mark upon him so that No person will harm him.

How in the Fuck do you add vampires to that?
By saying that the Mark of Cain is the vampiric curse. Which is what White Wolf did.

I do, I do. Atrociously bad film. But the Judas theory was worth it. Well thought through. Except for the part where Vlad Tepes actually existed in the 15th century.

              ALL of them do.

Why does everything have to involve Vampires in some way? Over the last 10 years, we've had more than our fill... and the last time I checked, there were no Vampires in Cain and Abel's story. Why not go for the trifecta Fail and add werewolves and aliens?

It's Dracula, starring Jack Palance and directed by Dan Curtis.

This is true. The closest you would get to vampires in those days were legends that didn't make the final cut in the Bible(which ever one you subscribe to), the Dead Sea Scrolls, and, to my knowlege, the Torrah. The legends I'm talking about are of Lilith and the curse of Cain. Lilith was more of a demon, despite what the comic "Crimson" stated and Cain was cursed to sire monsters and such.

                            Still, no Vampires.
