They could maybe do it in the Era between the Yuuzhan Vong War and the Legacy comics, or maybe in the Old Republic Era.

Every time I see the titles of expanded universe stuff it sounds like a child or L.Ron Hubbard would come up with. This shit is embarrassing. It's the same franchise in name only.

It's like people said "what's good about Star Wars? must be the lightsabres and the stupid names. Never mind all the plot, character or story telling stuff."

Old Republic sounds cool cause that's a real thing, as are empires and rebels. "Darth Bane", the "Yuuzhan Vong War" and half the shit on Wookiepedia sounds like infantile gibberish. Especially when some places claim that the robot's name is Artoo Deetoo, and not R2D2. What fucking purpose does that serve? It doesn't make it sound cool and alien, it sounds like Xenu is around the fucking corner.

I think six Star Wars films is enough, were probably lucky we even got more than one. Besides we also several specials and animated series, not to mention comic books, regular books, and video games. Seriously you people are spoiled.

I would agree that alot of the expanded universe material is lame. I remember reading that there was a creature that made the would take away the power of the Force from a Jedi.
