If I liked Wonder Woman, I'd be so down for this.

As to Andrew's question:
Jordana Brewster.
But, as with all of these, I highly doubt their acting ability.

And while I'd like to see Cobie do it, I don't think she would. I'd like to see someone a little more fierce looking. When FRINGE first started I hated Anna Torv just because she didn't look sexy enough. Now I think she's fn hot. Let the role define the sexy, and just focus on casting someone who can pull off the innocence and fierceness of Wonder Woman.
That being said, I don't think they'll do that. They'll probably cast Keri Russel since her new show will no doubt be over by the time this picks up any kind of real movement.
Olga Kurylenko could do it if she can pass off a bit more of an English accent.

Kelley had been interested in the Golden Age, World War II-era incarnation of the superhero icon.
I mean, they have J. Michael Straczynski (who knows a bit or two about successful tv shows) revamping the character with a sensibility that seems tailormade for a tv show. And for the actual tv show, they go into the opposite direction and give us Wonder Woman fighting Nazis? Again?! This just in: Wonder Woman is not a second-rate Captain America knock-off. Stop presenting her that way. I mean, why not set the next Superman movie in the 70s, while you're at it?

Especially when Glenn fucking Close is on TV.

She didn't have a comedic role in the tv show she was in (Chuck). Which can't be said about fan favorite Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother).
And Bruce, that's why I said "more than good enough".
She could do it. And she could probably do it a lot better than any model, singer or female wrestler that is suggested otherwise.

Oh, for fuck's sake! Not again! How is Diana supposed to grow? How can she become an iconic figure of modern pop culture alongside Superman and Batman if the keep presenting a Wonder Woman in the 1940s that has a) nothing to do with the character in the comics for the better part of a century, b) no possibility of eventually lining up with the supposed JLA movie for which Amanda Waller got written into Green Lantern, and c) next to no relevance to the target audience?

I love Keri Russel, but she is way to small to play Wonder Woman
