  • FIREFLY ON SCIENCE CHANNEL!

The Science Channel has acquired the rights to the cult-hit and will air the series in its short-lived entirety, plus some new extras. Science Channel will wrap each episode with interstitial segments starring renowned physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, who will discuss the theoretical science behind the show's sci-fi concepts.

Interesting. I'll probably check that out and see how it is.

I'd be more excited if it was being continued, rather than re-screened. I have the DVDs already(and the science has been discussed to death at conventions and online)

Let me know when they begin to re-shoot new episodes. (and someone shoots the Fox scheduler who decided to show the episodes in a completely mangled order the first time round - that pillock and that pillock alone is responsible for this brilliant show being cancelled)

Seems like an odd place for it. Going into the science of Firefly is like going into the science of Star Wars. Redundant.
