roflol... please, the whole DC Vs Marvel thing was a popularity contest, nothing more...

as for which 'superhero' i hate the most...

i'm almost tempted to say "Hulk"... but that wouldn't be true, i have nothing against Hulk as a character, it's the crazed Hulk fanboy's that really need a swift lead injection to the brain...

    same with DBZ fanboy's...

    I don't really have a character i really hate...

Oh yeah. Lobo would have destroyed him. Lobo would rip off his arm and use it as a back scratcher.

I hate the character of Lobo, but admitt he should have beat Wolverine.

BUT...we have read stories where the under dog wins the fight. Spider-man outsmarting the Juggernaut- good. (and Spider-man beating Firelord- stupid)

When the under dog wins, you usually see a great story, or cool art/action.

What did we see with Wolverine? The two of them end up BEHIND A BAR.
The reader has no idea how Wolverine won. Oh no...let's not use any creativity to settle the fight...let's not give the readers a chance to see this spectacular action. Let's just put in the script "they fight behind the bar" show the bar, and be lazy about it....

My guess- when they jumped behind the bar, Wolverine found a spare Cosmic Cube! Or maybe he got hit with the Capt. Universe at that exact moment. Or a black hole opened up beneath Lobo....

I like both of them now. It took a while for the both of them to grow on me but they did. I sometimes like the underdog triumpthing ,but it is a slippery slope. You let one story pass then you have to just silly stories through the flood gates like Superman beating Batman. Or Batman taking Ring inhanced Guy out with one punch.

I'm pretty sure the main fights in DC vs Marvel were in fact voted on by the fans, and Lobo wasn't doing too well at the moment so....

I was pissed at half those fights. Spider-clone was awesome IMHO, but no way does he beat Superboy. Or Storm beating Wonder Woman [who had Thor's hammer in her hands at one point in the story!]. Even if Superman and Batman hadn't got more votes though I think they'd still have won simply because it's DC's biggest guns. They never lose. I think Storm and Wolvie being in the most popular title in Marvel was the deciding factor in those fights. Not the powers or experiences either combatant has endured.

I'm gonna go and toss in the character Magneto as well because that dude's been played out for awhile now. Marvel's turned him into a one trick pony and the coolest thing he did [acting as Xorn] was screwed by them rewriting Xorn's history and making another Xorn all together!

That's what happens when you apply Clarmontian forumal to things. Morrison's Xman was the best in a long while.

Claremont also made Magneto boring in the 1980s- remember he was a "hero" that joined the X-men. And...he was revealed to be a Holoucast survivor. The guy who had Silver Age Nazi like tappings...acted like a dictator...wanted to start a racial war... he was more like the guy who ran the camps.

And...thanks to Claremont, one of my favorite books now sucks. Exiles was a great read...now we hae Psylocke, his default character and idiotic t and a fake asian. another rogue...it;s like his X-men circa 1988. I wonder when a heroic Magneto will show?
