It is funny...it's kind of like how much complaints we saw from Green Lantern fans when rumors of John in the JLA movie surfaced and how it wasn't "true ot the comic origins"

So Paramount is making a Iron Man Movie out of a trailer for Iron Man the movie???????????

Basically, it is the Onion poking fun at us fans, usually, the other way around, where fan outcry is usually about how the film companies mess up an adaption of a comic book. Obviously, the movie has been made and of course the trailers are bits of the actual movie. But because the movie (and trailers) are so well done, there seems nothing left to complain about, so the Onion has "created" an amusing spin on the old complaints we fans usually voice!

If you can get to a cable modem, it really is funny to watch.

(When I first learned about this, I thought they were trying to make a movie out of clips of the movie! I think this is the first time this has been done!)
