    MARVEL MOVIES ASSEMBLE!!!

    http://www.marvel.com/news/moviestories.3493.Marvel_Movies_Assemble%21

Marvel has announced four new movies for 2010 and 2011, including Iron Man 2!

With Iron Man's cinematic debut currently blasting through box offices throughout the country, fans can expect a second film to hit theaters on April 30, 2010! And a few months later in July, the mighty Thor himself will wield his enchanted hammer across the big screen courtesy of director Matthew Vaughn!

Pumped yet? You should be—and you haven't heard the best part! The summer of 2011 will kick off in style with a Captain America movie, followed just two short months later with the July-debuting Avengers!

Want the very first looks at how the Marvel movie universe is already tying together? Be sure you stick to your seats until the very end of "Iron Man"—yes, all the way through the credits! There's an extra special, extra exciting, extra scene guaranteed to thrill!

Plus, as first revealed at New York Comic-Con 2008, catch Robert Downey Jr.'s cameo as Tony Stark in The Incredible Hulk, smashing into theaters on June 13!

That noise you hear in the background is the sound of Marvelites the world over rejoicing, True Believer! So get ready, because these next few years are going to be one heck of a good time!
Also, Punisher: War Zone is due out in December with all indications pointing to a trailer being attached to the new Hulk film, and the first trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine is speculated to follow suit, being attached to said Punisher sequel.
Do good. Be well. Make happy.

I loved Iron Man! Captain America is one of my favorite comic chacters. However despite my love for Iron man, istill have low expectations for comic movies.

my god...MARVEL is gonna own DC when it comes to films in the next 3-5 yrs if DC aint gonna do a thing...

now we'll be having Cap, then Thor then Avengers... dammit, i hope theyre going to do Ultimate style, since Sam jackson is already Ultimate Nick Fury

i actually have a theory that in the end of the upcoming Hulk movie, banner will become a scientist who'll work for SHIELD

if SHIELD is in the HULK movie, then Marvel is doing a great job in tying its movies with each other

      DC should do this

I thought DC had planned to inter connect their movies before everything went downhill. JLA was to spin-off the Flash after Wally claims the lightning in the end of JLA, GL would've featured Hal with cameos by John since he's in the League, and Wonder Woman would've spun from the League movie also. Now who knows what's not gonna happen....

Yeah, I heard this yesterday. Good news for Marvel. DC/WB really needs to get off their ass.

My hopes for the Avegers line-up:

          Most likey to appear:

          Nick Fury - Sam Jackson
Iron Man - Robert Downey Jr
          The Hulk - Ed Norton
          Thor - ?
          Captain America - ?

          Others I'd like to see:

          Human Flame - Chris Evans
          Invisible Girl - Jessica Alba
Storm - Hallie Berry or Rogue - Anna Paquin
          Iceman - Aaron Ashmore(if Rogue)
          Abigail Whistler - Jessica Biel

Last, it would be great to see Toby as Spidey again. But since he's not gonna be in SM 4, it will probably be some new dork. So I say have Spider-Woman or Spider-Girl.

Then of course, there should be some new side characters introduced.

They better not fuck up Thor. That's all I'm gonna say about that. They better sit down and think long and freakin' hard about Thor. Or I will revolt. I will bomb buildings. It's gonna happen. I can't even think of someone who could play the God of Thunder.

NO! Wait!!!! My hero! My idol!

The one. The only. Mr. ZAKK. FREAKING. WYLDE.

He's already got the Viking look. He's already had an acting job. Played the lead guitarist for SteelDragon in "RockStar". PERFECT!

Captain America... Who would make a good Cap... Gotta be someone All-American looking. Wholesome. At the same time, able to kick ass and take names.

Yeah. Sure. Why not. I generally like him. Good actor. Wholesome looking. I could get behind Matthew McConaughey playing Captain America.

Avengers? Captain America? Thor? Iron Man 2?

This is great news! Especially after sitting through the end of Iron Man last weekend! With Samuel Jackson, it looks like we're going to get treated to an Ultimate Avengers flick!

And DC is apparently going to take it. All they can give us is Superbats over and over again. I know V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Constantine, Stardust and others come from them, but they have no ability to cash in on their long line of beloved heroes in the comic stable. What's wrong with them?

Granted, I'm all for avoiding trainwrecks like Steel and Catwoman, but just not making movies is far lazier than trying to make GOOD ones!

Anyway, DC's impotence is Marvel's gain. They can run their comics as a loss leader if they have to, and it's still worthwhile because of all the money the movies make them. DC can rely on trade paperback sales to keep food on their tables if that all the ambition they have...

So basically, they wanna make a live action version(in 2011) of the animated movie they made already back in 2006:
                      http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...teAvengers.jpg

I'm not a marvel fan but, let me get this straight....

Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Goliath, Yellowjacket, Doctor Pym- are all the same guy??? Wtf.... Why does he have so many names?

I still say they should add these heroes to the new movie:

                      Human Flame - Chris Evans
                      Invisible Girl - Jessica Alba
Storm - Hallie Berry or Rogue - Anna Paquin
                      Iceman - Aaron Ashmore(if Rogue)
                      Abigail Whistler - Jessica Biel

I just wanna see some more familiar faces in the ultimate Super hero team up movie.

There is also a Ant-Man in the works and what I understand the movies coming are

                          Iron Man 2
                          Thor
                          The First Avenger: Captain America
                          The Avengers

Nick Fury and Tony Stark both will appear in The Incredible Hulk next month
The Avengers line up will be

Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Ant-Man

and yes Pym is all of those people - Pym has as many names as Kyle does costumes

That simply can't happen unless Fox gives the production rights of said characters back to Marvel Studios.
