As a friend, I suggest you stay away from the kindle. It is bad news. When I worked for Barnes and Noble, I mainly worked in the Nook department, and the kindle is a piece of crap. Not that I would suggest the Nook either. If you are in the market for a tablet, go with the iPad or the Sony tablet. They are of much higher quality in consumer reports.

Also I thought specifically of you when I saw the "Mating with the Raptor" title.
