Because this is more of a blatant "I need attention" thread. Playing games with the forum by logging out to see what people have said that you have on ignore? That's completely childish. Just the fact that Ion would make this thread to gain attention for one of his dilusions of 2 people being the same person is ridiculous. Hell, I'm still not 100% sold on Ionfan being an actual person, but I give him his due.

And trust me when I say this, I'm not sticking up for Tazz, but he does have a very solid point: This thread, like the H&P thread, is all about trolling and getting attention. No guy in their right mind would ever create a thread about a hooker they are falling in love with, ask for advice, objectify the advice when given, and keep repeating the same sad cycle over and over.

I understand people laugh at H&P; hell, it brings a chuckle to my face from time to time. But I seriously have to ask the admin here: hasn't this whole thing gotten way out of hand?

All I'm saying is, if H&P is allowed to continue and, pretty much, become an institution, it would be kind of inconsistent for this thread to get shut down in less than a day.

Mind you, I'm not saying I'd object if this AND H&P went away. Quite the opposite, actually. I'm just saying I don't see what grounds there are for booting this thread immediately when H&P has been left to "thrive" so long.

Ionfan is obviously calling out his usual "de-moters" for another round of "let's create some drama!" in a much more direct approach than in the H&P thread. You were talking about cries for attention. I just don't see how this is any more of such than the other. And much of the attention he has managed to garner over there is, IMHO, just as worthless in terms of posts as anything found here.

I'm not defending this thread, as I said. I just don't see any meaningful contrast between what's going on here and over there, such that one deserves to go on indefinitely, and one deserves to be booted posthaste. You are free to disagree, obviously (and you have). Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

(And to be honest, I probably do need new glasses, literally. I've had this pair for years, and I'm starting to have to take them off if I want to read stuff close-up. Yup, I'm getting old. )

Y'know, I bet I could make a decent costume for "conspiracy theorist". Aluminum Foil hat, and wild hair and beard, and maybe some signs proclaiming various conspiracies (or maybe I could even find some nutty conspiracy books at the library, and carry those around- not sure what titles to look up though).

Of course I might risk offending some people if I choose my showcased "conspiracies" unwisely. I'm probably safe with something like faked moon landings, but there is a non-zero chance that if I tout something like anti-vaccine conspiracies I'll run into somebody who will actually get offended and want to start an argument. And that's not what I consider good Halloween fun, especially since I'll be with the kids.

Honestly, bro, it's not even that I agree or disagree with you, I'm just so.....IonTazzed out. I'm probably babbling right now. I would much rather have a meaningful conversation with you in the movies/Star Wars/TV shows/Books thread; threads that have actual substance to them.

well if you want some advice that wouldnt offend people look into reptilians and incestual presidential bloodlines. 911 i would say avoid since that will just piss everyone off. oh and haarp is one you should look into
