the Jay Lethal impersonation thing from a few weeks ago was one of the better things I've seen flair involved in for the last couple years. partly due to flair not talking a whole lot during it and lethal just skewering him.

He doesn't really do anything anyway. He only makes cameos and wrestles at PPV's because of his age and health. It's time for him to step aside. If the E took the time to develop young talent, his departure wouldn't be such a big deal.

      • Flair HOGAN and BRET can all have a place in the wrestling business, their strengths must be utilized and their weaknesses covered, they shouldnt ever be discarded like old shoes or abused...these are icons legends. They also need to know what role they can and cant serve. BRET cant wrestle anymore at all, but he can manage and do other duties.

They all need to know when to walk away in order to preserve whatever legacy they have.

Actually Im with Tazz on this one, and you might find that alot of fans from our era think this way.

Only one of my friends irl still watches wrestling and last time we spoke he said he was really losing interest and wouldnt be surprised if he stopped watching it soon.

My other friends that stopped watching years ago, I asked them why they stopped and always their response is they dont like any of these new guys, when I dig further they say its because they dont feel like they can get behind anyone to support, and I have to agree.

Not that these new guys dont have talent, they do, but the way WWE presents them it just kills them, the last new guys that got me hyped was Brock and Orton but obviously Brock left and Orton has slowly gone down in my books, i prefer him in his evo days.

To put it simple WWE has done a shit job of making stars after those two, so the only remote interest left is watching guys like HBK and Taker.

Also times have changed 2nd n 3rd gen wrestlers dont want to spend 30 years plus taking bumps in the ring like a Flair or Hogan etc, you will see stars retiring early and going on to do other things, thats why guys like Jericho, Edge are saying they will be done in the next 2 years.

Believe me if WWE dont get their act together theirs going to be a massive hole there in the next 2 years, perhaps worse than the one after WM20 when a shit load of big names left.

TNA already has a better roster imo, so it will be interesting to see what happens then, when WWE have no big names to draw on.

A young boy threw his drink at Chris Jericho during a match against Evan Bourne at the WWE live event this weekend in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jericho stopped the match, got on the mic and demanded that the kid be removed from the arena. Security then escorted the boy and his father out of the building.
LOL thats funny since Jericho used to be in wCw, where throwing stuff in the ring was standard, I dont think theirs a Nitro where fans didnt throw shit in the ring lol, it would just range from different levels, you didnt see Hogan and Nash crying about it, so I dunno why Jericho is moaning about one cup.

Id agree with ig that wCw 96-98 is what a wrestling show should be, I just watched the Nitro where Jericho debuted against Alex Wright, really every Nitro has been hot firer, and yeah the PPV's are awesome, Hog Wild ftw, a PPV infront of bikers, you wont see that shit today, awesome stuff.

Id say WWE's time that was like that was late 2001-2004, I actually liked that time more in WWE than the attitude era, especially SD! in 2002-03 SD! was the A show, when Im done watching wCw, Im going back to watch this era in WWE.

You see theirs enough old stuff to keep me happy so I dont really care what WWE does now.

                    • Flair is in debt and needs a paycheck. That's why he's still working. They're just not using him right.

He can't keep it in his pants is a big reason he's hurting financially.
