My choice was always Denis Leary as Guy Gardner. (In his non-Vuldarian form)

After watching RESCUE ME, I really feel that Leary would make a very good Guy.

I'm sure Hollywood would want to put somebody in the role that's only 22 year old, but that's what they always do.

      Thanks for asking,

Nail on the head, just a pity he won't fit the age bracket. If you had to pick someone currently say between 25-35? I've always thought of Sean William Scott ( i know he's short, but he has a huge presence ). If i was picking a real red head with the look, height and build then Kevin McKidd would be another choice ( the dude from Rome ).

What's your thought's on Tora coming back?

Sean William Scott would be a good one if they go with a younger guy. McKidd would be good, but I don't know if he has the comedic skills to really capture Guy's way. I could be very wrong. Talent is talent.

We were gonna bring Tora back. I was setting up that when Guy and Fire had their little fling. I was also setting up Arisa's return where she wasn't dead, but in a hibernation period that her race goes through when becoming a full adult. It would've also reveled her "new" powers.

I had more with Quorum that I had been laying tracks for. I still might be able to bring that to surface.

It's funny, I get a lot of emails where readers bring up the fact that most everything that I created during my run on Guy (Buck Wargo & The Monster Hunters, Dementor, Sledge, Vuldarian background, Probert-The Bad One, etc.) have all been shuffled under a rug or they've tried to kill off or ignore.

That may be a good thing. At least I don't have anyone screwing them up. In reality I think it's because I had equity in them.

          Thanks,

          Beau

Somehow, someway, we have to get you back writing GUY ( Beau, just point me in the right direction and i'll be on whomever like a bad rash ). I'd love to see GUY part time adventuring with Buck and the monster hunters. Hell GUY needs his own villians to make a dramatic comeback.

GUY doesn't necessarily have to get his Vuldarian powers back, but the fact that he was a Vuldarian, for a while at least, should give him an advantage over most villians.
Greatest Warriors that ever existed, c'mon ( hell even Lobo trained him for a bit, during the reborn mini ) GUY should be kicking a helluva lot more ass. There has to be a story in this! What about GUY recreating some of his Vuldarian weaponry as constructs with the ring?

There is just so much that can be done and done right!
By the way thanks a stack for the little tidbits, i wish you had the chance to follow up on a lot of what you just mentioned. Someday you've got to get the entire JLA, JSA and GLC into Warriors leading up to a beer drinking competition with only GUY, Ted Grant and Kilowog the last three amigo's standing!

Guy's throw down with Major Force is still my all-time best fight scene. I must reread that anytime I need a boost of good ol' testosterone! Best Summer popcorn flick turned comic ever.

To bad DC doesn't want more of my hard earned cash by releasing the GG Warrior trade...

I liked guy's portrayal in invasion as well as jla/titans.

2 different "characters" but still the great same kick ass first , ask questions later

The best thing with Guy Gardner is that no matter if he has the ring, doesn't, has tattoos, whatever, as long as he IS Guy Gardner and the character is true, he can always be entertaining.
