Didn't Johns say Blackest Night took a night? From Black Hand killing himself to being resurrected by Hal Jordan it was all a night? Cause if you read GLC, the attack on Oa was pretty hard and fast and then they warped to Earth.

7.) Kyle is still a California native.

8.) Kyle was in NYC when he was given the ring and Ganthet stayed around longer than a few seconds to give Kyle a bit of a tutorial.

It's pretty much official that Kyle was never a member of the League. With the latest JL issue it mentioned the roster has stayed the same for roughly five years with the one exception being the brief addition of the Martian Manhunter. No Justice League Detroit, JL Elite, JL Europe, etc....

Well, they proberbly scrapped the 90s white costume. It would be to confusing for new readers because of the emotional spectrum.

And all of this is why I've stopped reading comics. Lack of respect to characters that carried the company for many years (Kyle, Wally, Donna, etc) is a slap in the face to long time readers.

Sad that Kyle's history as a Leaguer doesn't exist in the current universe...but isn't it GREAT to see about a million bags of shit DC passed off as JLA members in the last 20 years swept under the rug so casually? I can't say it hurts my feelings. Triumph, Tomorrow Woman, Yazz, Bluejay...who the fuck were they turning AWAY? That's what I want to know!

Really? Next thing you know, you're going to be telling me Snapper Carr wasn't a leaguer.

Somewhere Alex Ross is wringing his hands because his efforts to tell us Captain Marvel and Plastic Man were silver age JLA members have all been for naught.

The White Costume was as ION so I don't even think that exists anymore!

About the only DC character who was more of a full blown continuity FUBAR then Donna Troy was Hawkman between CoIE and Zero Hour.

Unfortunately the whole new 52 has created the same problems the CoIE reboot did only with the problem factor dialed up to 11.

You can effectively write off any interaction with any member of the JSA...especially Alan Scott so that means the whole thing with the Starheart is gone along with Kyle's training.

So you have the whole 'what stories happened in the current continuity' migraine all over again.

More proof that this was a poorly planned reboot... relaunch... rewhatever...

Part of the fun is finding out what is/isn't still cannon. Am I that mad Alan wasn't a big part of Kyle's rookie years? Not really. Am I upset Kyle was never in the Justice League? Maybe a little. Was Kyle ever a member of that middle generation of New Titans? THAT is yet to be seen.... but I can't wait to find out if he was/wasn't.
