Ok guys. I've grown weary of carrying this thread. I actually feel bad for having a part in derailing it. I'm a Green Lantern fan and would actually like to go back to enjoying that without this 'entourage' of 2 or 3 that's latched on to me. Enjoy your beers!

Dude...........you're a hypocrite, and the only elitist on this board. You come in here after 3 years of solid inactivity (logging on doesn't count, and neither does reading threads) and try and tell US how to act. You said a few pages back that the people we are trying to convince "doesn't care" about GL. Well, they OBVIOUSLY do, or they wouldn't be on Twitter bitching about Hal being in the film. They just don't care ENOUGH to actually learn about it. Like you. You DO care about GL (You are a fan, or you wouldn't be here) but obviously your view on the mythos is a little skewed. You came in here telling us not to be "Comic Book Guys", but the last 14 pages of this thread shows me that YOU are the only comic book guy of the lot. Not only are you trying to tell us we're wrong, but you're even trying to seem more knowledgeable on the subject, and are trying to demean us in the process. The fact that you have "sat and watched us for years, and know all you need to" about us, tells me that you actually are elitist, and a "Comic Book Guy". So..................grow up, slow/learn your roll, etc. etc.

It's just bad message board etiquette to come in and talk like you own the place before you've established yourself as a valuable member of the community I've got over 1500 posts and I still feel a bit like a noob

The 29th of this month will be my year anniversary, and I still feel like a bit of a noob too....... I have come to extremely appreciate this board though, and I feel like I truly am apart of the community.
