FX Acquires "GREEN LANTERN" TV Rights

via VarietyFX has acquired commercial TV premiere rights to the past weekend's top two new box office performers, "Green Lantern" and "Mr. Popper's Penguins."
Continuing to show a flair for feature film fare, FX now holds rights to the current B.O. top six: "Lantern," "Super 8," "Penguins," "X-Men: First Class," "The Hangover Part II" and "Kung Fu Panda 2."
With the $53.2 million that "Lantern" earned last weekend and the $18.4 million for "Penguins," those six films have a cummulative B.O. this year of $641.8 million.
In each of the past two years, FX acquired rights to 11 of the 20 highest-grossing films at the B.O.

In the two or three paragraphs I read there seemed to be an awful lot of "missing the point" too.
He says people should look past all the CGI and "origin story"ness of it and see what's in the movie?
I'll tell you what's in the movie...
sloppy storytelling and under developed character arcs.
Fuck that guy.
