  • Adventure Comics #7(Black Lantern Superboy) COVERS by Francis Manapul & Aaron Lorpresti

ADVENTURE COMICS editor Brian Cunningham has a few choice words to share. Take it away, Brian:

“The title is ‘What Would Black Lantern Superboy Do?’ and, frankly, he says some pretty outrageous stuff, plumbed from Conner’s subconscious. In fact, we learn an awful secret about Conner that I kinda wish I didn’t know. And there is a HUGE moment in this issue that no one will want to miss. ADVENTURE #7 tangibly pushes the character forward in a way you won’t expect.”
    ADVENTURE COMICS #7 hits 2/10.

All so great. Love that one of Kyle.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

              • So we got to the point were a character that has little to do with Green Lantern, Scarecrrow in this case, is featured on the cover of a Green Lantern comic.

I was just thinking that. While I love the cover, it has no place on this book.

                      • I got a question, where do you guys draw the line when it comes to purchasing variants?

For me since Agent Orange I have been buying almost every GL and GLC variant with the exception of a few, as well as every BM variant (only the sketch of 1), but as I move into 2010 where to me it seems like heaps more variants, I am trying to figure out where I am going to draw the line.

Also what do you do with your variant covers? For me I have a wall at work covered in them, and some at my apartment. But I am running out of room.

I love Greg Horn, and R Migliari's work, so most likely I will be buying variants done by them, I am sort of on the fence regarding the Jim Lee cover but yeah....

                        • I myself never buy variant covers unless they are cover price. I just find it stupid to buy a comic that cost 25 dollars just because the cover is differrent

I only buy the ones that are really gorgeous to me and Andy Kubert's DCU stuff.
