Did anyone pick up the "All Star Superman" dvd that came out last week? I just watched it last night. Nice flick. Heavy on the emotional, and the ending just screams sequel. I also watched the "Superman Now" interview with Grant Morrison, and it really struck me that he is a very intelligent guy- I could totally understand what he was saying, and his vernacular is stupendous. I just wish his comics were as easy to understand.

Action Comics #902 Cover by Kenneth Rocafort

There are few better ways to start a workday than by posting a killer Action Comics cover. This one comes from the incredibly talented Kenneth Rocafort, whose issue #901 cover we showed off here a while back, and will be joining Paul Cornell to handle art duties on the series starting in ACTION COMICS #900.

Here are a few words about Kenneth Rocafort from Associate Editor Wil Moss:

“We knew we needed really powerful covers for a story as big as ‘Reign of Doomsday,’ but who could possibly fill those shoes? Whatever Happened With Nick Spencer And Supergirl?

It’s always the way, a couple of days after a big show, that’s when the gossip starts to flow this way. Expect a Page Six One Six blind item piece this week, but for now, let’s talk Nick Spencer. With work for DC, Marvel, Image and more, Nick Spencer recently signed an Exclusive deal with Marvel, which precludes him working for DC, though gives him an exclusion clause for his creator owned work for non-DC publishers.

But does this give SPencer’s decision to leave Supergirl with his first issue, #60? At the show, Spencer told people that the reason was that editorial just didn’t like what he was giving them, which is why he only wrote two thirds of the issue, having it finished by the now-ongoing writer. However on release, the positive reviews saw them change their mind – but by then Nick had signed by Marvel. He told people “it was a hard a choice and for a
while it could have gone either way, but in the end Marvel just love what I was doing far more.”

Morning Glories is expected to be around a hundred issues, split into three seasons. The first will end with issue #36. And apparently issue 18 will be the real “game changer” in the series, which will make a good end point for any massive hardcover collection.

I'm calling it, DOOMSDAY is some how mixed with Amazo's abilities after Lex played around with him.

this is a bit of a spoiler, but to those who have read the new comics think about it........DOOMSDAY vs. STEEL........Double D grew "armor".........what is STEEL?? A guy in armor.

Today in Outsiders, DOOMSDAY vs. Eradicator, Double D somehow gained Eradicator's powers and it even confused Eradicator...........I'm willing to be bet Lex add a little Amazo in DOOMSDAY and he's learning the powers of anyone connected to Superman...........next up is Supergirl and Cyborg Superman.......not good.....Double D will be able to control computers lol
