Report: X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Being 'Crafted' Around MYSTIQUE & MAGNETO, Their Romance
It's good to get young, rising stars signed to multi-film deals when their stars are still rising.
Building up to the Nov. 21 release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1, the Hollywood Reporter is taking a look at the upcoming career moves of the in-demand 24 year-old star Jennifer Lawrence.
During the course of the story, THR reveals that Lawrence is committed to the production of May 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse, which begins shooting in Montreal in April 2015. The Hollywood trade also reports 20th Century Fox and Bryan Singer are “crafting” the film around Lawrence’s Mystique and Michael Fassbender's Magneto.
According to THR, “A source who has seen the script says Fox will take full advantage of Lawrence and Fassbender's star power, placing Mystique and Magneto's romance front and center.”
Previous interviews with screenwriter Simon Kinberg revealed Apocalypse will revolve around the "friendship between Erik and Charles” and “the relationship between Beast and Mystique,” with the further focus on Mystique and how she is “the child of both Erik and Charles.”
Put all together it seems to indicate the film may feature a romantic triangle between Mystique, Beast and Magneto, without shying away from the fact Magneto is a father/authority figure to her.

The Aunt May rumor seems to be the way Sony is running the Spidey-Franchise and that's throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. I mean, that's how I felt The Amazing Spider-Man was; the studio just wanted to have fanboy moments sprinkled throughout the movie without a strong plot.You just witnessed the strength of geek knowledge.
