They both get wiped away and some of the Ultimate Universe is added to a new 616 that's pretty much the same

    • Which means Miles is probably going bye bye
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

      • I highly doubt it

        • I really hope it's not the case. I like his character a lot. Ultimate Spider-man was one of the few books I collected that never let me down and was always a good read. For me anyway.

          • Miles probably stays on with the All-New X-Men, which upsets me as much as his demise would.

            • This made me laugh: Marvel isn’t looking to ‘align continuity’ between comics and film

Joe Quesada was asked if the Ultimate Universe and the Main Marvel Universe would ever cross over and he replied no. Quesada said he'd rather close down one universe than have them cross over because it meant they were officially out of ideas.

                • Chiwetel Ejiofor in Early Talks for Unknown Lead Role in DOCTOR STRANGE

Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor could join his first comic book movie.

The actor is being courted by Marvel to take on an unspecified role in the company's Doctor Strange, The Hollywood Reporter has learned, and could join Benedict Cumberbatch, who is starring as the surgeon turned sorcerer supreme Stephen Strange, aka Doctor Strange.

Talks are said to be in the early stages, and Marvel had no comment.

Character and plot details are being kept hidden from the all-seeing Eye of Agamotto.

Several sources have intoned that Ejiofor is wanted for a villainous role, but some insiders have pooh-poohed that. The villain is likely to be classic bad guy Baron Mordo, a sorcerer’s pupil whose next-in-line status is usurped by Strange, thus making him the physician’s mortal enemy.

If Marvel feels like mixing up ethnicities, a possible role could be that of Wong, the monk servant to Strange who is adept in martial arts. Another possibility is the role of the Ancient One, a semi-immortal mystic who mentors Strange and is the sorcerer supreme of this dimension.

Scott Derrickson is directing the movie, which is in the early stages of casting and will shoot after Captain America: Civil War, according to sources. Strange has a release date of Nov. 4, 2016.

Ejiofor was reportedly due to play a villain in the new James Bond movie, Spectre, but talks never reached the dealmaking phase.

Ejiofor, who was nominated for a best actor Oscar for his performance in 12 Years a Slave, already has notched a number of villainous roles on this thespian sash, notably in Joss Whedon’s Serenity and Children of Men. He is currently shooting The Martian for Ridley Scott and stars in Z for Zachariah, which will premiere later this month at the Sundance Film Festival.

                  • X-Men: Apocalypse Adds Cyclops, Jean Grey & Storm

Introducing the new mutants of Fox’s X-Men franchise: Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan, all of whom were announced by producer Bryan Singer to be joining the cast of next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse Thursday evening.

Singer made the announcement via Twitter, ending speculation about who would play the younger incarnations of franchise mainstays Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops, while also confirming for the first time that the characters would definitely be appearing in the movie. (In earlier movies, the roles were played by Halle Berry, Famke Janssen and James Marsden, respectively.)

The three actors will join Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassebender, all of whom are returning in the follow-up to last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Directed by Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse will be released May 27, 2016.

                          • The Ultimate universe getting the axe would bother me more if Marvel had not killed it with Ultimatum, now don't get me wrong there were good stories past it but that and Ultimates 3 really took the universe in a bad direction.
At least Spider-man was good, i sure hope Miles Morales sticks around.

                            • The only books I stuck with were the Spide-man and X-men books. I was very much enjoying the direction Brian Wood took Ult. X-men
