Miles Morales should not be in the MCU yet, the only reason to obtain Spider-Man in the MCU was just not for Spider-Man but Peter Parker as well. That's what I want to see, not Miles at this given time.

If Miles is indeed chosen to be the Spider-Man of the MCU I will be disappointed.

Literally the only way Marvel could make me care about this is of they cast Donald Glover as Peter Parker. I'm with Iggy on this, we need to see Peter Parker establish himself in the MCU before we ever see Miles Morales, who isn't even in the same universe, and Donald shouldn't be stuck with Miles when he's good enough to be Peter.

Not that I have faith in it actually happening either way, but still...

There's no way Logan Lerman doesn't become Spidey. This is like Henry Cavill missing out on Superman Returns and getting the Man of Steel gig. Logan missed Amazing and now he's on the shortlist for this. Its destiny!

I.......dont have a prob w/this casting, actually; I think Id have more of an issue if they went back to socially awkward P.P., than the U-MU version we've had recently.

I just have a hard time believing that Marvel/Sony would bother spotlighting characters that they don't fully control creatively. I'm guessing cameos to minor roles at the most.

Yeah, cameos or minor roles I'd be fine with. It could be a testing ground for certain characters.

Now is not the proper time for Miles Morales to be part of the MCU. Even with Spiderverse going on, I don't see Miles Morales on the silver screen in the foreseeable future, much like I don't see Terry McGuinnis getting a live action Batman Beyond movie any time soon and he's been established to be a fan favorite long before Miles.

heres my question about this whole spiderman thing. will sony have control on just there take of the charachter or will marvel be able to do what they want in there mcu with the charachter or will sony make final choices on this also?
