I was looking forward to the film with optimism, but after hearing that Josh Trank was fired from his Star Wars project, I'm kind of concern the film may suck hard. I still plan to see the Fantastic Four, but not with the same level of optimism.

Does this Josh Trank person have a bad track record? Not familiar with him, so I'm trying to understand how he could potentially ruin the FF movie.

They only other thing I know that he did was Chronicle. I've heard rumor that while the movie was good it wasn't his contributions to it that made it good. He is also apparently know for being a notorious pain in the ass from what I have heard. People say that this might be the last straw for him being able to get any kind of big studio gig or at least any more gigs from Fox but again I've just seen/heard being said .
