  • ^^^ That was my reaction to Dark World also LOL

For me Thor had to have equal parts Earth and Asgard to work in anything. Movie Thor for me is too much Asgard and not enough of what made me like him when I was younger. When he's in God-mode all the time, it kinda kills it for me.

The only things I can even remember from Thor comics in the last few years was the horrible Thor vs Wolverine garbage, and Thor's battle with Galactus.
Absorbing Man, the Wrecking Crew, Ulik, Atum, Desak, Ego, the Living Planet, Skurge (ya GOTTA remember *him!*), Hela, Grey Gargoyle, Perrikus, Quicksand, Bloodaxe, Radioactive Man, Mangog (theres some potential), and last but not least.......the Stone Men from Saturn (aka the Kronans.)

      take yur pick.

      • Not that I agree with M, but um Absorbing Man is the only one that I recognize.

        • I recognize quite a few but Skurge is really the only one who could be a main villain

          • I'm pretty sure Absorbing Man was used on Agents of Shield already anyway. lol

            • Not that this would ever happen in reality (perhaps wishful thinking on my part), but there was that crazy story line where all the Asgardians relocated to Latveria as some kind of brokerage deal with Loki. I forget the exact reason why that happened, but it just sorta popped into my mind.

I know Absorbing Man, the Wrecking Crew, Ego the Living Planet, Skurge, Grey Gargoyle, Radioactive Man, and Bloodaxe but most of those IMHO are just the Marvel villains that bounce from title to title. I've seen half of them fight Hulk, and Bloodaxe IIRC was an enemy of Thor II/Thunderstrike. Grey Gargoyle I always saw as an enemy of Iron Man and Spidey. NONE of them deserve top billing in a movie against Thor, a demi-God who's in a whole 'nother League compared to 99% of that list.

Now a rookie female Thor fighting any combination of those guys? Has a lot more potential...

                  • Marvel & Netflix's Iron Fist Lands Scott Buck as Showrunner

Now, Comicbook.com has confirmed (with help from our friends at HH) that Iron Fist isn’t just moving forward, but has chosen a showrunner. Scott Buck, who served as EP on Dexter, and a producer on Six Feet Under, will take the reigns of the fourth and final solo series with Marvel and Netflix before they meet for a Defenders mini-series.

Marvel describes Iron Fist as follows: "Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist."

Those two shows, both on premium cable, certainly carried the dark tone that’s been established by the first two series, Daredevil and Jessica Jones, but little is known about the plan for Iron Fist so far. The character is by far the most all-out “superhero” out of the four Defenders, with a background that includes a mystical city, a superpowered punch, and kicking a dragon in the face, all pretty far afield of the light use of superpowers and mysticism we’ve seen on the shows so far.

No new timeline has been given for Iron Fist’s debut. Daredevil season two is next, coming Spring 2016, with Luke Cage season one later that year. Jessica Jones launched a few weeks ago to critical acclaim, so it’s possible a second season could be on the way there, as well.

Nick Nolte played him in Ang Lee's Hulk.

the only thing U'd need to do is figure out wat kinda threat is needs to be generated, wat level it is, and who's to be the MAIN obstacle compared to who's cannonfodder; main threats/big bads could *easily* be Perrikus, Karnilla, Ego or Atum. most of the rest can be cannonfodder which Thor has to get past in-between the long sequences of Thor/Jane bullshit which will likely take up about 70% the movies screentime.

                        see? it aint hard....

besides doing so is too easy, theres also the fact that he's being used in the next movie.

                        so wats the point, really?

                          • I think it's safe to say Loki will always have an integral part of a Thor movie, since he's part of the very fabric of Thor himself.

Whatever he was, it sucked. Can't believe Rise of the Silver Surfer would pull that same shit too.

                              I want this guy:
