Fox sets release dates for two new Marvel movies and Predator sequel, moves Gambit and Alien: Covenant
Following the success of Deadpool, 20th Century Fox looks to be laying out its plans for its future Marvel slate, with BoxOffice reporting that the studio has set dates for two as-yet-untitled superhero movies on October 6th 2017 and January 12th 2018.
Furthermore, the X-Men spinoff movie Gambit has been removed from its original October 7th 2016 slot and the film – which is expected to start production in March – is currently without a release date.
Now, it is possible that Gambit could occupy one of the two new slots, although it wouldn’t make much sense for the studio to announce them as ‘Untitled Fox/Marvel Films’ if that were the case.
Assuming Fox wants to keep to a similar release pattern, then it would make sense for Deadpool 2 to hit in January 2018, while the October 2017 date could be filled by a spinoff such as X-Force or New Mutants.
Fox also has a June 2nd 2017 release date slot available, which was originally earmarked for Fantastic Four 2, so Gambit could always fit in there.
In addition to its Marvel dates, Fox has also moved up Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant to August 4th 2017 from its original October 6th date, as well as setting Shane Black’s Predator sequel to March 2nd 2018.

Wish Cap was gonna be in a suit more similar to that or his stealth suit from the Winter Soldier film rather than what we're getting.
He should get that shield back though. Let FalCap get a stupid looking new one with a gimmick to make it relevant.

I disagree. I needed a bigger hook than Widow on the outs with SHIELD. That's been done to death. There was no meat to this issue and while Samnee is wonderful, he didn't do a great job with fight choreography this issue. Some panels it was difficult to tell whether a punch or kick was being thrown and by whom, and then the next panel would show a different scene entirely letting me know that I definitely got lost in translation.Originally posted by Booster Beetle View PostHOT DAMN Black Widow #1 was fantastic
I'm a fan of the creative team to stick around though, and it wasn't BAD, it just wasn't anything to shout about. Except the colors, those were amazing.
