There are a ton of Bat-books out now with the New 52. I like what they're attempting to do with Batwing and can't wait for Batman Inc to return. But I think the Bat corner of the DCnU should be different than past eras. We need something new but meaningful and not just a bunch of the same old same old in a new modern setting. What would you do with the Bat-books if given the keys to the car?

Gordon's Law... or something focussing on Gordon and the GCPD.

I'd take Batman out of Detective comics in all but cameo appearences - He's got 2 titles to himself and 1 shared with Robin, Detective should focus on the less well-known, grittier side of DC.

Additionally, but unlikely:- Batman: He's really dead this time and he's not getting brought back, resurrected or reanimated. Ever!

That's what was asked of Jim and that's how he responded. Gail Simone mentioned somewhere(probably on her blog or to a blog) that Renee will show up in Batgirl at some point, iirc. Then there was that DiDio comment that mentioned her possibly being with the GCPD. I think we'll eventually see her return to the force.

I'd make Detective Comics a book divided between Batman and Batwoman stories. She held the title while Bruce was MIA, and being in a high profile book helps her image.

Gotham Knights would return as a series featuring solo stories and team ups between Robin, Red Robin [both without solo titles now], Spoiler, Black Bat [Cassandra],and Huntress.

Joker would get his own monthly, and possibly a piece of an origin story....

Ragman would also score a monthly [or at least a maxi to test waters] and be based in one of the slums of Gotham.

I would also give at least one other Baman Inc character a shot at a monthly or maxi, probably Chief Man of Bats or Nightrunner.

What would you want to see? Maybe another villain could work as a monthly series...? More Batman Inc spin-offs? Non-Bat related heroes of Gotham perhaps?

-Batman, Detective and And Robin for bruce to showcase solo action stories, detective stories and then robin team ups for bruce

-Nightwing For dick more of the Snyder type run where he deals with Gotham in his own way
-Red Robin for tim really just continue with where it was going before. occasionaly in gotham occasionaly travelling the world
-Red Hood for Jason a on the road book where jason travels the world from town to town trying to discover his own path while keeping a vague link to Batman Inc orgnaization like the travelling outlaw representative
-Robin for Damian solo adventures for the boy wonder
-Batgirl For Babs
-Catwoman hero book but she commits crime to survive and for the thrill
-Batwoman for Kate MORE ELEGY

-Stephanie and Cassie team up book the unloved Batgirls set up shop outside of Gotham
-Birds of Prey for Huntress, Manhunter, Babs, black Canary doesnt really matter as long as Gail Simone is Writing
-Batman Inc. once the current Morrison run is over make it more of an anthology title featuring the different Inc characters where if they are popular they get mini's or ongoings
-GORDON for commisioner gordon and the GCPD with Snyder writing it
-Sons of the Bat a team up book featuring nightwing, red robin, red hood and robin in various combinations of 2, 3 or all 4 of them
- A girl version of the above title featuring babs, huntress, spoiler, blackbat and Batwoman

with mini's for ragman, huntress and villians. i have a list of my ideas somewhere that i came up with a few months before the reboot was announced so i changed some ideas but i think thats about right
