Finally got a chance to read this issue today. I thought it was good but not great. Mostly setup. I agree with everybody else that it was kind of weird for Dick to be so quick to use the Lazarus Pit.

West, I had to sit and re-read those balloons to make sure I had read them right. When I had, I figured there must have been a mistake on their placement.

spoilers ahead for those who haven't read issue 8 yet......

Thought it was a good issue, better than the last but still lacking a lot. I got excited a bunch of times but the impact wasn't there. Loved seeing Darkseid and Mokkari, loved Damian's return, loved the entire fight with fake Bruce and Dick.

Absolutely loved Beryl pulling out her slingshot! The scene with Kate and Dick buried had me hoping he'd kiss her and she'd reject him but only after. lol I wanted that to happen so badly!! I don't remember what Christmas Kate was referring to though....and it would have been a bigger moment had we not known of Kate's new ongoing.....The English dialogue was a bit much. When I have to reread to make sure I'm getting the gist of the word then it hinders the comic and takes me out of the story.

Its funny that the best part of the issue was yet another person becoming crippled on Dick's adventure and the teaser for next issue with Damian out the window. Hilarious!
