He isn't going to be Robin again. Red Robin is who Tim is going to be. You didn't see Dick slide back into being Robin. Tim has moved past being a sidekick.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the completion of this story arc. I wonder where this comic is going.

I'm half way through the book and just hit the best page of the fucking month so far! And as soon as I wanted to post about it, DC puts it up on the site. So here it is...spoiler warning.


EDIT: Great issue. Art is the same as last, but it doesn't take away from the story at all. We still don't find out HOW Tim came to his brilliant conclusion but we get to see what he has in common with Bruce....Detective skills. Apparently Bruce's cave was somewhere outside of Baghdad, which is only about 500 miles from Jerusalem which would be the more obvious place of resurrection. Chris Yost is the man, he topped this first arc with a bang. Not only does he have Tim duke it out with Dick, he also gives Tim the benefit of having hope(even though I still think its a elaborate ploy by Ra's), and he leaves him for dead at the end of the issue. Not to mention there's this random subplot of Lucius Fox's daughter urgently trying to find Tim. Its great, and I'm so hooked as long as Yost is on board. I still wish Marcus To was on sooner, because the quality of this book will take off once it does.

Get sarcastic if you want, but you're not adding to the discussion. I said what I said so you can reply with "Yes I did." or whatever. But saying it stunk on a skim doesn't make sense at all. Saying it stunk after reading does however. But I guess you skim like most people read.

I've read the first 3 issues and am about to read #4. So far, I've really enjoyed this book. Tim has been my favorite Robin (Aside from Steph Brown who most forget about..) and it's nice to see him take on a much mature feel. He is so very much like Bruce now. I see it in the way he thinks.. the way he acts. Dick might be wearing the Batsuit, but Dick will never be Batman to me. He was found out far too easily by Two-Face for him to ever be legit.

BUT back to this book! Tim knows that Batman's out there and it's obvious no one else wants to believe him. I can't for the life of me figure out why. Tim is the better detective and it's nice to see him use these skills while Dick's out playing pretend. The art is a bit.. weak, but I don't allow it to detract from the story. I read first, appreciate the art second. If you're a Bat family fan, I would recommend this series. So far it's been quite the exciting run and I expect only bigger and better things.

really? I dropped those 2 out of utter "meh" ness; but this Red Robin title has been way above expectations. I.E. it's awesome!

Well you're better than me; I just plain don't like Robin. But add the word Red in front, and I'm sold!
