Disney Buys Marvel!

I got mixed feelings here. I think the movies need a new direction,but I am not sure this is it. however if they pump out alot of good new Marvel Cartoons then that would be great. As far as the parks I foresee Disney Character figures dressed as Marvel characters hitting the Hasbro store before to long.(Like the Star wars ones). I could also see a Super Hero squad Cartoon in the works as well.

I just don't know. If Disney wants to make a oldskool heart felt Captain America movie. I am cool with that, Just don't do it with Wolverine.I hope there is a apropprate split when it comes to movies and staright to DVD features. Some flicks can be watered down but some need to stay the way they are. I hope they leave the comic aspect to the experts,though.

On topic though, I think this will be good for both parties and that most people are over-reacting. That's my opinion anyway. At any rate, there really is no point in debating this because ultimately, we really just have to wait and see.

f@#$ disney they always ruin everything because they are childish motherfu#$ers.....we dont need spiderman meets mickey mouse and we dont need spidey or any marvel character at disney i dont even care for marvel at all anymore not for the last few years so what does it matter anyway.........spiderman reveals himself to the public? i hate you quesada and i hate you marvel but i will always love the characters.....

I never really understood this whole Disney buying Marvel thing. Did they buy the whole of Marvel, i.e rights to every single character ever? Meaning they could crossover Hulk with Hades etc? And how would this affect the writers and other media like films, animation etc?

Oh yea, they also own the Kill Bill franchise too, No Country for Old Men, There Will be Blood, Reservoir Dogs , The Crow, Trainspotting, Gangs of New York. All Disney.
