Considering my new-found outlook on Green Lantern, I'm happy with most of this. Why not? It's like a drug binge, yes there are ups and downs, but in the end at least you are high throughout the whole thing.

Geoff was a hell of a guy. He even was nice enough to talk to my brother, TMarcumUSN over the phone when he found out all the good humantarian work he did in Haiti. I had an Orange ring on and he traded me for a Sinestro one and said "Thats mine". Thought that was funny.

He was real gracious in signing. Manhke was a tool somewhat, like he didnt want to be there. But Geoff signed like every issue of 52 for some guy. I brought 16 things for him to sign, Blackest Night 1-7 and their variants and two shirts. Today Im bringing my titanium Black Lantern ring, a couple of the plastic ones and my Blackest Night action figures.

* Eddie Berganza wanted to make Kyle a Blue Lantern but everyone else was against the idea.

Because if Geoff doesn't write it then it can't be good, right? Hal can wield damn near every ring INCLUDING a freakin' black ring, but Kyle can't get any more attention than a few panels here and there.

I would have rather seen Kyle become blue for a three issue mini, or seen more with John and Fatality instead of the dozen minis I bought that mostly sucked and had to do with Hal and the New Guardians. DC missed a big opportunity to tell a good story, they just wanted a bigger story with more tie-ins.

When one of Geoff's projects does badly, and eventually one or more will, I bet he'll get his shit straight and pay attention to the rest of the DCU that's kept it alive all these years WITHOUT massive crossovers.
