Either Nero or Effigy could be brought back. Just use them in GL New Guardians, as Kyle villains where they belong. It wouldn't make sense for the other umpteen human GLs to face them. They were Kyle's thing.

You guys may want to stop asking for heroes and/or villains to be brought back. So far many have not been happy with what they received i.e gay Alan Scott and Black Wally West.


ON TOPIC: The spectrum doesn't necessarily need to go away completely but it needs to disappear for a while and leave room for some done in one stories and other characters.

Nero had a lot of potential, but never lived up to it. They could bring him back or start him over though. Like A-Train said, he'd be different I the 52 anyway. Be careful what you wish for, though in this case there's a possibility he'd be better.

Effigy is too much like the colour corps to work in the DCnU.

Nero was killed and brought back in Blackest Night as a black lantern only to be killed off again.

If they stay in NG I could live with that. I don't want them dragging the flagship down any further. I still would prefer Kyle get a class A baddie.
