This was my packaging class final (turned in today for a grade... which was an A-... the bastard). Here were the rules (because the instructor is oh-so pleased with himself when he sets lofty goals):
Product: Action figure, at least 7" tall (guess who I picked?)
Substrate: Chip (cardboard) with a PVC window showing at least 3 sides of the project

- Package had to be a unique shape, not seen before... ever... or at least by the instructors eyes (he works for Disney in their product packaging department)
- Product photography to be taken by the student (no internet images)
- All artwork had to be original (duh, it's an art school... though you'd be surprised how many people here cannot draw to save their lives)
- All legal/safety information had to be present
