Anyone ever play Godzilla Save the Earth? Far from the best fighting game out there, but it is still fun to destroy the cities. I have the original Xbox version. FOund it cheap when Media Play went out of business. They use the sound effects from the movies (I think).

This one is notable for a few reasons:

(1) It's a tribute to Gojira, featuring several clips from the original and (in a cameo) Momoko Kochi reprises her role as Emiko Yamane.




(2) The enemy (Destroyah) is created by the effects of the oxygen destroyer from Gojira.


(3) It's the last of the Heisei Series. Because of that, G is in meltdown and technically Junior becomes Godzilla.

I never played that Godzilla game for xbox, think it was on other consoles too, but I still play War of the Monsters, that game is so awesome.

The commentary by Steve Ryfle and Ed Godziszewski is as informative as ever, so no complaints there.

This edition of DAM also features the International english dub, in addition to the much sought after AIP dub which is certainly a novelty that makes the Media Blasters release worth picking up.

Finally finished Gangsters and Goliaths (I missed the last issue by mistake), which was really fun reading (even more so than Kingdom, imho). I hope Legends (which I understand to be one-shots highlighting various monsters) is as good.
