They could always release them individually with the current versions of the films. Like they did on DVD a few years ago, but on bluray, all cleaned up and the proper anamorphic format. One for Star Wars, one for TESB, and one for ROTJ. Then people would stop their bitching.

i agree! they should re-release the original unaltered version but cleaned up. hell i want a lot of classic movies to go that route total recall being one of them

That doesn't sound too hot to me. I mean there isn't much about the story, and I have no problem with the general setup of where the old characters are now, but what we DO hear about the story seems kind of lame to me. And we have the usual nonsense of tossing around words like "galaxy" without thinking about it, talking about a number of "galaxies" loyal to the Empire, when it has seemed clear from the beginning that the Star Wars stories all deal with a single galaxy.

But don't worry, I'll definitely be giving it a chance to change that early impression.
