5 plotholes you never noticed in SW

I thought of all of these before. The only one I didn't think was a problem at all was ....

...4. Why do they assume the Falcon got to Cloud City in short order? Their hyperdrive was BROKEN. The whole reason they were going to go to Bespin in the first place was because they couldn't really reach anywhere else in a useful amount of time. It is more of a plot hole that they got ANYWHERE with a busted hyperdrive (the usual explanation I've seen people come up with is that the MAIN hyperdrive was broken, but there was a much slower backup) . . .

This. I always assumed that they spent way more time in the asteroid belt, en route, and at Bespin than is readily apparent from the film time. We know that they are there long enough for Leia to notice C3PO missing and make many inquiries (she says none of Lando's people have seen him). I just always assumed that there were a few days (but not weeks) between when Luke and Leia parted and were reunited.

5. I've no idea what the EU established on this score, but I always assumed that when Leia said she remembered her mother a little (once it was revealed that Padme died in childbirth) that she didn't realize she was adopted, and she remembered her ADOPTED mom, who must have died when she young. Probably the EU has established that her adopted mom lived until Leia was an adult or something, but lacking that knowledge, I assumed not.

This is one of the many reasons I've always discounted the EU as junk fanfiction. The episodic movies are it for me. I don't even count TCW or Rebels as canon like Disney is going with.

With Leia I justify her memory of her mother as being images from her birth that she has in her head due to her unexplored connection to the force. Luke may be stronger with the force, but I figured Leia had an empathic connection that he didn't. Like a gift from the force.

Wait, looking up Darth Plagueis, am I to understand that the Rule of Two that the Jedi set such store in was really false? The Wookieepedia entry makes it clear that during the events of The Phantom Menace, up until Palpatine was elected Chancellor, Plagueis was the Master and Sidious was HIS apprentice, while at the same time Darth Maul was Sidious's apprentice. So for most of the film there were actually three Sith.

Tenebrous had a second apprentice besides Plagueis too. And there were also supposed to be other beings strong with the Dark side which didn't have a proper Training, which Plagueis hunts down because they don't fit with his political scheming.

Care to elucidate a bit? The only SW book I've read was Shadows of the Empire. I'd like to know how this was achieved, especially considering Yoda and Windu are supposedly so powerful with the Force.

According to the book the Jedi didn't even know there were any Siths left up to Darth Tenebrous, when he experimented with balancing the force towards the Dark Side, which was supposedly felt by Jedi all around the galaxy.
The Sith have the ability to mask their abilities due to their training.
Additionally the Jedi order wasn't really that strong anymore because they had no common enemy, no clear goal and were content with not involving themselves with anything much. They still obeyed the Senate but didn't really bother fighting corruption within the Republic. They were divided within their order about their actual goals (which is how Palpatine was able to draw Dooku to the Dark Side).

Also Palpatine and Hego Damask were mostly scheming in the background via Trade Federation and the InterGalactic Banking Clan. They destabilized the outer rims and because the Republic didn't have an army the outer rims created mercenary armies.
This is also the reason why nobody noticed how Plagueis created the first (not very successful) Yinchorri clone army (which was defeated by the Jedi very quickly) and Count Dooku creating the Jango Fett clone army.
