I'm waiting for a complete boxset with all 6 seasons. When the one for 1-5 came out I held off because I knew it would come back to haunt me. And I've only seen a few episodes so I'll do a marathon when I do get it someday.

You don't think it speaks move volumes about his character that he followed his life's calling, restraining himself from such a love? I think it does.

Thinking like that is what turns one to the Dark Side

Plus I think Kenobi and Anakin are far different people and may not necessarily have both gone to the darkside. Anakin's whole life was riddled with loss and pain; a truly emotional guy. Kenobi, me thinks, is more cerebral and level-headed. If he just woke up one day and said "I'm done with being a Jedi. I want to be with Satine," I presume that could have been an actual choice?Originally posted by fearless2814.1 View PostThinking like that is what turns one to the Dark Side

You're not wrong, as far as I know; a Jedi may freely leave the order. And you're right, Obi-Wan and Anakin are two entirely different people. I was more likening the thought process behind corruption to the Dark Side then their characters, though.

Yeah, I get what you are saying. Anakin's corruption stemmed from a lot of factors- slave boy, mom's death, dead sand people, Count Dooku's head, yadda yadda, plus he was being played by Palpatine ever since he came to Coruscant. To my knowledge (and I certainly can't think of anything from the EU either), Kenobi didn't have these factors in his life, or if he did, he dealt with them properly.Originally posted by fearless2814.1 View PostYou're not wrong, as far as I know; a Jedi may freely leave the order. If Kenobi wanted Satine bad enough, I think he would have left the Order. But he was a man of principle and maintained a steady observance of responsibility. The Order was his life. If anything were to have potential to turn him, it would have been the destruction of the Order, not Satine's death, but he didn't know attachment like Anakin.

Last week our friends at entertainment news site iKwiz.com dropped the bomb that Michael Fassbender will don Boba Fett's armor in the upcoming 2016 Star Wars standalone film. Today, the site has posted a fresh rumor, this time concerning who alleged costar Tatiana Maslany will be playing. And it turns out it is another established wearer of Mando armor in the Star Wars universe, the Star Wars Rebels character Sabine Wren. The following information comes from iKwiz's source.
“Tatiana Maslany’s name came up a lot for the role of Sabine, the same character from [Star Wars] Rebels. In this story she’s a little older and a bounty hunter.”
Once again, this should be viewed with a grain of salt until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm, however, with each new bit of information that is slipping through the cracks, the 2016 Star Wars movie is looking more and more exciting!
