The Bond soundtracks are out of the rotation in my truck CD player, and my Star Wars soundtracks are in. Been listening to them the last few days, and I think Williams' scores have gotten better as time went on. Sith is an amazing score.

I guess you can find racism anywhere if you look hard enough, and there are some people who will NEVER stop looking hard for it...

Personally, I think that this sort of thing HURTS the cause of racial equality. It's like "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". You call out racism in ways that sound absurd often enough, and people stop listening to you even when you call out LEGITIMATE cases of racism.

I've heard variations of this argument years ago. Then, the thought was that they could've just used James Earl Jones when they reveal him. Of course, part of the problem would be that you would have to explain away (though it's not impossible) why his two kids are so white bread.

MSNBC host freaks out over "black guy" Darth Vader

ok, three things:
1) this woman must never have actually seen SW (or, more specifically, ESB) given her comment that Vader never claimed his son.......

2) her being butthurt over the fact that Vader stopped sounding like J.E.J. is quite obviously attributed to the fact that she'd never realized the man was wearing a life support outfit & had a speaker for a mouth.

right now Im looking at places where I can catch SW7 on Thurs nite, and Im seeing 1 place near me w/both 3d & regular viewing at 7:30.....and I don't know which 1 I wanna dump money on.

and normally, I avoid 3d films when I know that they weren't SHOT IN that format.....but this is Episode 7 man! I want to have my eyeballs go "OOOHHHHH!!!! GIVES US MORE......MMMMMOOOOOOOOORRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"

.........but I don't quite know if I wanna spend dat money on it. :/
