Never read that series, but just based on the art those castings look perfect.

My only suggestion would be to leave Kristin Stewart out of it. She's a walking rain cloud. Appeal will always plummet with her involvement.

She was okay in Panic Room and Zathura, which are the only two movies I've seen her in. And do yourself a favor and read Transmetropolitan. One of the best Vertigo books ever. And definitely Warren Ellis' best book ever. Both is saying a lot. Seriously, this comic book changed my life.

Did Dillon work on any of the art, or is that Spider-Jerusalem image just a single cover?

Dillon did a pin-up or two for the two one-shots (I Hate It Here and Filth of the City). I don't think he did a single cover, even though there were tons of cover artists (Geoff Darrow, Jae Lee, Tony Harris, Glenn Fabry and lots more). Interior art is by Darick Robertson, except for one issue featuring sequences by Frank Quitely, Bryan Hitch, Eduardo Risso, Lea Hernandez and Kieron Dwyer.

Yeah, I haven't read it either but the art matches the casting perfectly.

If they include that in the movie, you say? I can't say why not. I recently saw "Stealing Harvard" (where that pic is from), and I was amazed how much he looked like drawn by Darick Robertson in that movie. Adding a beard and long hair for three minutes or so wouldn't break the movie.

Continuing the trend of a Scotsman playing Magneto (and not Prof. X, as the new movie would have you believe), plus, both he and Ian McKellen are Shakespearean actors, playing Hamlet and Macbeth, respectively (David even played Hamlet opposite Patrick Stewart's Claudius
