          Yeah, but they're comic movies.

          Eh, forget it.

4 years isn't bad since Nolan wants to film the whole movie in IMAX, plus the 3D work... I mean, there was 3 years between Batman Begins and TDK, given the extra prep that is required for IMAX and the 3D stuff, its no surprise the gap between TDK and The Caped Crusader would be a year longer.

And don't forget that his plans for the third one were ruined by Heath's death.

Yeah... well, personally, I'd like to see Charlaton in the third film, just so we could get Aaron Eckhart back... his was the best performance in TDK, imo.

I think Catwoman needs to show up. Aside from Robin (who Nolan has said he isn't interested in using in his films) Catwoman is really the last of the core Batman cast of Batman's formative years to be adapted for Nolan's film series. And she's the last remaining character who's casting could generate as much excitement as Batman himself in Batman Begins and The Joker in The Dark Knight. I'm not even the biggest fan of Catwoman, but objectively speaking, I'd suggest she's a must for this film.

But I'd see her more as a foil/love interest than an outright villain, so that still leaves the question of who to include as the bad guy.
