So on the way to work this morning something truly stunning happened.

As usual, listening to John De Bella and he began his "Covidiot of the Day" segment, and described how he was browsing Reddit and saw a picture someone had uploaded. It was a letter from the property owner/manager of a condo community where around 150 units of condos are rented or owned, and some people have begun working from home in compliance with company/state regulations to deal with the pandemic.

The manager decided that was in direct violation of the terms of use because apparently there's a section of the contract that stipulates something like not running a business out of your condo, and as such all violators have been contacted with the announcement that their accounts will be foreclosed.

JDB had trouble finding his voice for a moment and then asked "What kind of a dickhead does that!?" Uncensored. I have never heard the man curse on-air before and I've been listening five days a week for years.

But he's right: it takes a special kind of asshole to render someone homeless and jobless during a pandemic where everyone is just trying to get by.

Manager was fired for violating their anti-discrimination policy, yeah. The viral aspect just makes this a hundred times worse than it already is and will only serve to reinforce to everyone else at all locations that such actions cannot and will not go either unnoticed or unpunished.
