wow, for a Kyle centric thread people seem to reeeeally dislike him around here.
To weigh in; Kyle would not leave Soranik. Though I agree with the prior point that Kyle/Donna makes the best & most interesting couple. I would actually go as far as to say that Soranik fills in as a Faux Donna given their, previously mentioned, similarity of personality. Kyle is stupid when it comes to relationships & he is Totally in love with being in love. Both of these I believe would keep him with Soranik. That and editorial mandate. It's better if he's with a fellow lantern for all the reasons previously listed & for future writing hooks.

I don't think the majority of us making fun of Kyle in this thread actually dislike him.
I mean, I do not for sure, I just find it incredibly amusing to mock him in his fail at relationships. That's one of the reasons I love him, he is a complete losers at taking care of his dear people and an emotionally immature fuck. I've heard some female fans of Kyle depicting him as an ideal boy to get in a relationship with and I can't wrap my mind around the idea, but whatever....
oh, and I like your idea of Soranik as a faux Donna, even though I'm persuaded is far from the mind of current GL Corps writers, as more modern trend is to erase Donna from Kyle's existence. He was trained by Batman in New Earth continuity and he also gave him a horrible necklace and they walked hand in hand on a lonely shore and then gently make love all night long and I don't know what happens later, just that it was Batman all the time....
