You kick ass dude. That's bloody awesome. It's funny that all of this stuff is written by the same guy. I'm sure if Geoff wanted to he could easily upgrade her to fit post-GL timelines.

But, not knowing the nature of this story in Action right now, wouldn't Superman be able to tell Hal what he saw in the future?

In theory, yes. But I think Superman's smarter than that. He wouldn't reveal anything from the future that may or may not disrupt the time stream. Haven't you ever watched any time travel movies, or read Booster Gold? Any knowledge of the future, especially that of our own, can have serious consequences and cause bad things to happen and possibly change the course of history! lol

HUFF! <catches breathe> Time Travel hurts my brain.....

But in some cases, Superman's memory is wiped when he returns home. However, I've only ever seen this in the animated incarnations. I don't think they do this in the comics though. Not sure on that one.

Fair enough. Hell, who wouldn't give Superman the benefit of the doubt?

            Me.

When I saw that panel you are talking about What struck me is the shape of Rakers face in This comic, and the fact that it appears his battery was in his head taking these factors with the fact that Raker was basically the first Lantern after the Manhunters fiasco so

            1. PB is in his head
            2. His Face shape appears to be similar to the Manhunters
            3. Raker was one of the first GLs after the Manhunters

Is Raker an Alpa-Lantern? or a Manhunter? or some other combination of Manhunter Tech and a sentient being?

Now looking at the Modern updated Raker I don't think Geoff has taken this route by I really think Raker orginally had some connection to the Manhunters

I love the Raker story, but actually being able to draw power into your ring from raw emotion/willpower just seems too much like us rubbing our hands together, saying we believe in Fairies to make Tinkerbell come back to life...

But reading comics about people that have a magic ring that can do anything they want, who's bosses are little blue smurfs is better? lol

No. In GL #25 he was very similar to how he was originally, then when next we see him hes jacked up on roids.

                        So no explanation... that sucks.

and although I really like this idea I don't think Raker could absorb the willpower of the servents on darkside because it really doesn't seem like they have any willpower

I think that was the idea tho. Yes, most of the population was completely bent to serve Darkseid. But Raker was the beacon of Hope there. Through him, the oppressed (understatement) people could actually allow a glimmer of hope into their lives. That was the thing that made it so special I think.

Edit: There was also the idea that Darkseid allowed Raker to live, allowed him to bring hope to the people, simply so when Darkseid felt it was time, he could snuff out that hope.

Yeah I can kind of see that. I'm actually going through the book right now and the people he's feeding in the end look like kids so he could be using there willpower because they aren't completely broken yet
