Apologies for using common sense here, but if you hate a movie that much *before you've even seen it,* why are you going to see it?Originally posted by IonFan View Postas i've said many times "i'm still going to see this film" but nothings gonna stop me from hating on it, cause we all know this movie is what killed the F4 comic book
Is there factual evidence that FF is now cancelled?
If so, how has a movie (which hasn't even come out yet) the default reason for the supposed cancellation?
Does he even have any factual evidence to back up his absurd remarks, or is this just like the Star Wars thread all over again?
*EDIT* 4/21- Ok, he was right about the cancellation. Gotta give credit where it's due. But I don't see the connection between that and the movie. If anything, I would guess that Secret Wars has something to do with it.Last edited by Jeff; 04-21-2015, 01:52 PM.

The whole cancelling of the comic just comes off as stupid and childish IMO. I feel like Marvel is in the mindset of "you won't let us get the rights back so I'm gonna take my toys home and no one can play with them." Now granted I am not up to date on the full story but it all just seems so ridiculous to me.I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

Question, Sir Train: Is there an actual expiration date as to when Sony will or will not have the rights to FF? Or is it just a matter of Marvel not willing to pay a certain requested amount of money to Sony to get the rights back?Originally posted by Lantern A-train View PostThe whole cancelling of the comic just comes off as stupid and childish IMO. Fox owns the rights to FF, not Sony. My impression is that, so long as they keep making movies every so often with the FF, then they keep the rights, but if they stop doing so, then the rights revert to Marvel.

What I find interesting is that Jean seems to confirm that his older self ISN'T gay (the article says that his older self "has not come out" implying that he is really gay as well but just hasn't told anybody, but that's not what I get from the dialogue). I'd think that would be almost as controversial as the fact that his younger self IS gay.
