i was just thinking about this today wile prepping to make my gl music video....


in bn 7 sinestro talks about being reborn and in bn 8 we see some favorites being brought back to life. alot of people speculate on who will gain the white latern battery. what if those who have been brought back in that 4 page spread become the white lantern corps? maybe im just reading to much into it but dont forget we had the deputie lanterns so maybe its not a stupid thought after all.

I think Deadman is going to be the only White Lantern - he's the only one of the group that was resurrected without any powers (besides swinging from a trapeeze).

The Hawks don't have any powers either. They use Nth metal to fly.

I think this is going to be a bit like Marvel's Uni Power, its going to move from person to person, and Deadman is the guardian for it, or some kind of mentor.

Were you wronged? Do you need to set things right and only the powers of a Lantern can help you do it? Poof. youre a white lantern until you set things right. Would also make a ton of sense why Deadman was picked for it.

I think Deadman is going to be the only White Lantern - he's the only one of the group that was resurrected without any powers (besides swinging from a trapeeze).

I think there will be more White Lanterns soon, hopefully not too many. I hope there are some Black Lanterns still around as well, but I doubt it since Black Hand was the "doorway to the black" and he's now alive.

well black lantern firestorm is still around . as far as black hand goes im confused now.... hes alive again but now has that indigo symbol on his head

Maybe Larfleeze will notice the White battery and go after it, and Brightest day will become an epic journey on how Larfleeze becomes the owner of the Universe.

I'm thinking that since the white lantern and the light had the ability to bring people back to life, and with "Dead is Dead" in effect, Everyone is going to be fighting for the white battery to bring the dead back to life. I think it's the loophole DC is leaving for themselves. Its an interesting, yet unoriginal idea. the last thing I want to see is the DC verse becoming Dragon Ball Z.
