Okay, so the numbers are up for last month (also the last of the year). As you look at the data, remember it was an odd month, with DC postponing several of it's December #15 books to January, while Marvel seemed to move them up a week.

And, if you're curious how the market did this year, here's the general numbers:

Overall North American sales of Diamond Comics, Trades, and Magazines (that's almost everything in your LCS) was $474.61 million (up from last year's 414).

The top 300 comics from each month altogether moved an estimated 80,550,000 copies for a total of $285.02 million.

So, you can see the difference the trades and such make (in dollars---remember they cost more).

Per unit, the average comic cost $3.54 or $3.57 per weighted order.

These figures don't include bookstores trades and newsstand comics. Those numbers are rougher and take longer to compile. If someone is interested and I think of it, I'll try to get that too when it comes up.

I'm not good enough with numbers to figures out how Green Lantern did overall, but the numbers are all here is someone is really bored.

I think that's a bit low. GLC sells more than that now without Johns writing it. I have a hard time believing that GLC will ever outsell GL, regardless of their respective quality.

Though I do expect a drop across the board for GL titles, so GLC might drop below that.

40k as in around the numbers that the other GL related books are doing. 40k - 44k. Not below the other books.

Still shocks me that a big issue such as the annual did not sell more.

my guess is that gl will go to about 55k. glc and ng will go to about 35, and rl to 25. putting guy in the rls won't help it much but will probably keep it from going under.

So, all the GL titles slipped some but even Red Lanterns remains a top 100 book (and notice it slipping in as #21 in trades). Earth 2 continues to be popular and repeat sales are doing well.

Is that JLA the actual debut? Or a reprint of #1? I find it hard to believe that with 52 variant covers, a JLA title would debut so poorly.
