The British accents are actually explained within the series. The TARDIS translates all languages to the traveller's native language. So if Susan speaks British English, then so does everyone else she meets.

Although they didn't actually explain that until the second episode of the '05 series (one or two moments in the old show are hard to explain with that, but not impossible). But, it's retroactive and a good explanation.

Given how this special is going to have so many different doctors in it, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Capaldi in a cameo.

It's not. It only has 10,11, and the forgotten doctor John Hurt. No one else unfortunately. Besides, Capaldi is a future doctor right now, that wouldn't go down well for the show.

Heide, the 50th is about David Tennant, John Hurt, and the doctors in general, and the Xmas is about Matt Smith and his goodbye. Then series 8 is Capaldi. We get a cameo from Capaldi at the end and that's it.

Think about it though, the Doctor jumps into the Time!Scar in the tomb TARDIS which contains all the Doctors: past, present and future. He even says that himself. The Name of the Doctor finishes with The Doctor, Clara and Doctor John all still inside the scar, so it's plausable that Capaldi might show up there too for a cameo.
What's less plausable are 4,5,6 and 7 who are all significantly older than they were when they regenerated, 4,6 and 7 are also significantly wider so unless they've been hitting the gym, seeing them would be a bit weird.

But from a real world and production point, it just wouldn't happen. Plus when the 50th was made and filmed, Smith didn't announce he was leaving, let alone Capaldi being cast.

^Just because it wasn't announced doesn't mean that this hasn't been in the process for awhile. I'm with Chivalrous. I don't necessarily think it will happen, but I do think it could happen.

I think he's the least likely doctor to crop up. Mainly because he isn't a doctor yet.

Even Moffat isn't stupid enough to do something like that........I think.
