I like this movie (which will turn 50 late this year) a lot. The last time I re-watched it (I have it on blu-ray), I was surprised it's only 2 hours; not that it's boring, just that there's so many characters and parts that it feels like it should be a 4-hour epic.

Earthquake probably would have been 4 hours long if Universal Pictures didn't tweak and condense Mario Puzo's script for budget concerns. In addition, 30 minutes was edited from the theatrical cut of the film at the last minute.

—The final of my 12-movie Andy Sidaris collection (and the last he made). Re-watched the whole set and features.

Werewolves (2020)

A short(ish) documentary (43 mins) and cheap (they use those public domain videos), but alright. Covers the history of the lore (like the example quote) and stories. My choice for the full moon watch this month.

—Didn’t particularly like this, but it’s probably better than #3. The self-awareness (like in the quote) doesn’t negate the criticism. But I did like different bits.

—40^th anniversary. Several reviewers I like love this film, so I checked it out from the library, but it turned out I had seen it. It must’ve been years ago, though since I didn’t post it here. Guess I liked it more than I did when I rated it 2 stars on Netflix, but didn’t love it.

I think I heard of that missing 30 minutes, but forgot. I'll have to look at what was in that.

—60^th anniversary of Herschell Gordon Lewis’schlock classic.

The Intruder (1962)

—Early Corman and Shatner flick about a man who comes into a southern town to rouse the locals against state-mandated school integration but loses control (seemingly his only real motive) of the mob. Free on Youtube.
